The Philharmonic Society is a non-profit organization established to support the Pasadena Philharmonic – the Community Orchestra of Southeast Harris County. The Society strives to provide a unique cultural outreach to this population while promoting cultural education, musical study, and performance.

The work of the Society is supported by donations, grants, ticket sales and fund raising activities. Ticket sales cover only a portion of our operating expense and we would like to offer YOU the opportunity to join us in providing:

• Exciting orchestral concerts which enrich our civic and cultural life
• Scholarship for area music students
• Performance opportunity for community members and music students
• Professional outlets for area music teachers.

In addition to ticket sales and program advertisements, the Society offers additional options for individuals and companies to support the Society’s work. Local businesses are encouraged to advertise in the year’s program. In addition, sponsorships of the concerts are available as well. Musical Chairs are available for purchase at $100 each helping to defray the cost of musicians.

Several funding agents have been generous supporters of the Society including the City of Pasadena, the Rotary Club of Pasadena, The Houston Endowment for the Arts, the Texas Commission on the Arts, and the Bill and Helen Crowder Foundation. For information on how to donate, please contact the Society at (713) 941-3332.
